Big Stage 2019: "I Have Studied and Understood Janam-Janam Song. Not Just Sing It" - Kucaimars

He explained that he could not give a proper answer to Judika because of nerves.

"When Judika asked what was the meaning of Janam, my brain just went balk.

"I wanted to give a complete answer, but because I was nervous, I just said 'where to'.

"I apologize for not giving an accurate answer," he said.

Kucaimars was interviewed right after Big Stage 2's week four concert held at Auditorium Majlis Bandaraya Shah Alam, Selangor.

The singer stressed that he learned and understood the lyrics of the song before singing it.

"Actually, the song is about a guy who is looking for his girlfriend.

"However, I tool the word Janam to mean where to. But people may have taken my answer wrongly.

"I did study and understand the meaning of the song so that I could get a 'feel' of it before performing. I wasn't just singing it without knowing what I'm doing," he added.

Ten contestants from Malaysia, Indonesia, South Korea and Thailand will be moving on to the next stage of the competition.

Contestant Fieya Julia was announced as the unfortunate person to be eliminated on week four of the reality show, but was saved when permanent jury, Datuk Siti Nurhaliza decided to use her 'immunity' power.

Jaclyn Victor was the guest judge for week four, joining permanent judges Datuk Siti Nurhaliza and Judika.
