BLACKPINK’s World Tour Concert Film is Heading to M’sian Cinemas
If you’re a BLINK (BLACKPINK fan), you’re probably starved for content as the girls have been largely inactive as a group for some time now. However, there’s some good news, the “BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK] IN CINEMAS” concert film will be coming to Malaysian cinemas for their eighth anniversary!
Limited screenings will begin on July 31, 2024 in over 110 countries around the globe, which sets a new record for girl group concert films. The tour also broke global records for female group concert tours as they drew an audience of 1.8 million at a time. Both GSC and TGV have confirmed that the movie will be available at selected cinemas nationwide.
According to the film’s official website, the movie will feature “the iconic ‘Hanok’ (traditional Korean house) set that has mesmerised fans and press worldwide, the film shows unprecedented production scale, presenting exclusively arranged versions of BLACKPINK’s hit songs unique to this concert and encompassing performances from Seoul’s Gocheok Dome alongside footage from further cities across the global tour.
At GSC, the movie will be available in various formats including 2D (RM45), ScreenX (RM55), 4DX (RM62), Aurum ScreenX (RM100), and Aurum Theatre (from RM145 onwards). Tickets will be available for purchase on GSC’s website or their mobile app (PlayStore | App Store) on June 27, 11 pm.
