Viral “Tak Rasa Sakit Langsung” - Bersalin Secara Pembedahan, Chryseis Tan Kongsi Pengalaman Melahirkan Anak Azwa Rahman 11/08/2020 | 18:12 MYT So, since everyone is curious if I had a natural birth or a C-sec delivery, here goes - My birth experience :: Arianna was a breech baby and the safest way was for me to have a C-section delivery. From about month 6 of my pregnancy, Dr Kiren ( my gynae ) has been prepping me that I most likely will have a C-sec delivery unless my baby turns but she never did until the very end even though I was really hoping for a natural birth. I was very nervous about the surgery ( and obviously hearing some bad experiences from my friends didn’t help.. ? ) but anyway it has to be done. We checked into Pantai hospital a night before the planned surgery date and I couldn’t sleep at all because I was actually already having mild contractions. The next day I got ready, got rolled down on the bed from the ward to a room near the OT, got epidural done and was numb from my hip downwards. Before I knew it I was already in the OT with Faliq by my side, 70’s classic love songs playing and within minutes Arianna was out and shown to us ( Simba style ? ) I instantly felt relief that she’s finally here safe and sound ?? Arianna was then placed on my chest and we literally had a short photoshoot session ? ( all thanks to Dr Uma ) ??? I was put to sleep immediately after that for the final stitching to be done, woke up 2 hours later and baby was by my side again with the rest of my family members. I must say I had a great labour experience, all thanks to the amazing doctors ( Dr Kiren, Dr Uma , Dr Kamaljit, Datuk Dr Satber , Dr Kim and the rest of the nurses / midwives that helped ) ?????? For those who asked if I was in pain - I felt almost no pain up till today ( maybe just some discomfort when I had to walk for the first time after the surgery ) I was terrified before the surgery but it all turned out so so well. If I can do it I think anyone can! ? It all felt so surreal and now I hope my future experience will be exactly the same as this ?? I still can’t believe I’m now a mother but I guess this will be the start of a new beautiful chapter for Faliq and I.
