The Formula 4 (F4) championship is coming to Malaysia this year, with three races scheduled at the Sepang International Circuit.
This marks the return of the prestigious series to the country, as it was last held at the same venue in September 2025.

According to the 2026 season calendar, Malaysia will host the opening round from 24–26 April. The third round will also take place here on 24–26 July, followed by the fourth round on 18–20 September.
Meanwhile, the second round, set for 22–24 May, will be held at the Chang International Circuit in Thailand. Additionally, an invitation race is scheduled in Thailand from 3–5 July, this time at the Bangsaen Street Circuit.
Formula racing features several tiers, with Formula 1 (F1) serving as the pinnacle of motorsport. Formula 4 (F4), by contrast, is widely recognised as the entry-level category in single-seater racing. It provides young drivers with their first taste of competitive single-seater racing, laying the foundation for future careers in motorsport.
