Popular Hangout Spot Pingmin Market & Hub Shuts Down Following Alleged Fraud Case

It seems KL locals are losing one more hangout spot, as a popular event venue known for hosting markets and events has announced that it will cease all operations.

In a statement, Black Onion Production (M) Sdn Bhd (BOP) said both Pingmin Market and Pingmin Hub are shutting down due to an alleged major case of fraud.

The company is now urging anyone who has recently dealt with either brand to come forward with any evidence or documents that could help bring those responsible to justice.

“We appeal to all to come forward as this is a serious matter, and all assistance is much appreciated.”

BOP also stressed that they have not granted any third party the rights or permission to use their brands or collect payments on their behalf.

“All financial transactions related to Pingmin Market or Pingmin Hub — including but not limited to booth rentals, venue rentals, service charges, or any other payments — must be conducted exclusively with Black Onion Production (M) Sdn Bhd.”
