If the credit card promoters at Mid Valley Megamall approach us with this credit card, we'll sign up for sure!
Earlier this week, Sony came up with a devious plan to get gamers to throw more money at their TV screens - by launching their own PlayStation credit card.
According to the official PlayStation blog, the credit card is a result of a collaboration between Sony Rewards and US bank Capital One.
A credit card made for hardcore gamers, you get rewards points for every single dollar you spend buying games on the PlayStation Store or any Sony-related products at authorised resellers.
All these points you collect can be redeemed to purchase PlayStation consoles, games and subscription services, just to name a few.
Not only that; successful applicants will also get USD50 (RM211.80) PlayStation Store credit after their first purchase - which, for gamers, means a free FIFA 18 game, yay!
Sorry ladies, good luck trying to tear your other half away from his PlayStation after this.
Now, here's the bad news: the PlayStation Credit Card is currently only available in the US.
So, people from Maybank, Citibank or Public Bank; if you're reading this, please get in touch with Sony immediately.
