Don't be alarmed if you pass by this lab and hear people screaming, talking in demonic voices or acting strangely.

It will probably be just another day in the lives of three researchers from Universiti Malaysia Kelantan.

Assoc Prof Dr Yohan Kurniawan, Dr Alexander Stark and Dr Burhan Che Daud have revealed plans of building a laboratory to specifically study spirit familiars or better known as saka in their university soon.

(#coolestjobever?)

According to a report in Harian Metro, the idea to set up the lab came about following successful research done by the three on spirit familiars about two years ago.

The researchers claim that they had come up with a method to identify spirit familiars in people by studying the colour of their aura.

Using colours to determine if spirits exist in your body

Dr Yohan said that using an imaging device called Winaura, they were able to see the colours of the person's aura and determine if they had a spirit familiar.

“The colour of the aura will turn red if it (Winaura) detects a spirit familiar’s presence in someone’s body.”

Other than identifying the presence of spirits, Dr Yohan and his team have also helped those with 'spirit issues' get early treatment using 'Islamic medication'.

He added that those who had spirit familiars usually acted strangely, got angered easily and their eyeballs would turn reddish.

He said that identifying if they had spirit familiars could help with treating the concerned individual and allowing the person to lead a normal life.
