Those of you residing in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya, are you ready for the conditional movement control order (CMCO) which starts tomorrow?

Most of us probably are not but before you panic, read about what CMCO means:

For many of you who have made appointments or have made plans to visit government offices, good news is that they will all be open too.

Business as usual

Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Mohd Zuki Ali assured that government services will function as usual.

He explained that civil servants will be working on a rotation system throughout the two-week CMCO period.

“Department heads must also use their discretion and consideration wisely on this matter aside from ensuring all health and safety SOP are fully abided by, such as temperature screening, social distancing, wearing a face mask and providing hand sanitisers.

“This implementation is also used in any areas where conditional MCO is enforced, ” he said via a statement.

Mohd Zuki also said that that online procedures will be prioritised to minimise direct interaction and that detailed SOPs will be released by the National Security Council (MKN) soon.

MKN, we really hope those details will be released ASAP lah.

Also some nasihat for the future, maybe just plan so that details can be released simultaneously with announcements made?

It could save us from a lot of unnecessary worry and headache.

Terima kasih. Stay safe everyone!
