Joker Pimpin Oscar 2020 Dengan 11 Nominasi

Pada Senin (13/1/2020), pihak The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) selaku penyelenggara ajang Academy Awards ke-92 atau Piala Oscar 2020 telah mengumumkan nominasi lengkapnya.

Film Joker menerima nominasi terbanyak di ajang bergensi itu. Film lakonan Joaquin Phoenix itu memimpin ajang tersebut dengan 11 pencalonan, termasuk kategori Best Picture, Best Director, dan Best Actor.

Duduk di belakang Joker adalah film 1917, Once Upon a Time ... in Hollywood, dan The Irishman yang dinominasi dengan 10 pencalonan.

Film asal Korea Selatan, Parasite juga mencetak sejarah apabila dicalonkan dalam empat nominasi termasuk Best International Feature Film dan Best Director.
