[PHOTOS] Is That Really Malaysia? Netizens Share The Prettiest Pictures Of Flowering Tecoma Trees
We're pretty sure you've noticed them.
Tecoma trees are plain ol' green most of the year, but when it's the flowering season, the blooms appear, and the trees turn into pretty pink, white, and purple colours.
Netizens have been sharing pictures of Tecoma trees recently, and they're oh, so pretty!

The "Malaysian Sakura"

While they may seem similar, Tecoma and Sakura trees actually come from a completely different family of plants.
Sakura on the left and Tecoma on the right. The Tecoma or the Tebubuia Rosea tree usually flowers during the driest months of the year.
In Malaysia, you will typically see the beautiful blooms between March and April, lasting for about two weeks.
Since we can't travel anywhere, we suggest you take a walk or drive out one of these days and see if you can spot these pretty flowers before the season ends.
