"Take as much as you need” - Mydin Boss Offers to Provide Khairul Aming with Aid for Kelantan Flood Victims
Wholesaler and retailer Mydin Mohamed Holdings Berhad (Mydin) has allowed influencer Khairul Aming to take items from their premises in an effort to help ease the burden of flood victims in Kelantan.
In a short 57-second video that has now gone viral, Khairul Aming can be seen on a video call with Mydin's Managing Director, Datuk Ameer Ali Mydin.
"You can take as much as you need. There's no need to send anyone or a credit card. Whether it's RM20,000 or RM100,000. Later when the flood is over, you can pay us back,” said Ameer Ali Mydin.
In the same video, the 68-year-old businessman also stated that Mydin would donate 5,000 more items to help with the cause.
In the comments section, many netizens voice their support and praise for Khairul Aming and Mydin's efforts.
Khairul Aming is currently in Kelantan providing aid to flood victims. In several video postings on his social media accounts, Khairul Aming could be seen helping out with distrubuting aid packages to flood victims.
His latest posting stated that two lorries provided by The Malaysia Civil Defence Force will distribute aid to 7,000 critical flood victims in PPS SK Pengkalan Kubor 2.
