BEHIND THE WHEEL
Honda Malaysia Contributes Funds For COVID-19 Relief Programmes With Your Help
Car companies around the world, Malaysia included, have been pitching in to support COVID-19 relief efforts. These contributions include the making of PPE and donating large sums of money. Honda Malaysia is the latest car company to roll up its sleeves to raise fund.
There are two ways the company is doing this, the first run closer to your home. You may not see it, but there are some in your community that could have been walloped by the MCO. Through their dealerships, Honda has started receiving basic necessities like dried foods and household items, which will be distributed to those affected. You can chip in this Honda Dealer Donation Drive that runs until 31 August 2020. Remember, even a packet of instant noodles can feed five or feed one five times.
The second campaign ties in with the release of the Honda BR-V. Every time someone buys a BR-V from now till 31 August 2020, Honda will donate to COVID-19 relief programmes. Although this is a thinly-veiled marketing strategy to sell more BR-Vs, it is still good to know that the purchase of a BR-V can help others in need.
Honda Malaysia wants you to know that it is safe to visit their dealerships. New standard procedures and safety measures have been implemented to ensure your well-being.
