If there was any car show in the country that truly represented the melting pot of automotive culture here, that accolade would probably go to Retro Havoc. From the truly retro, to modern-classics and good to the bad, it’s one show that absolutely takes many slices of the local scenes and makes one giant pie with something for everyone.

This year marked the sixth edition of the show with support from Pekema Malaysia and Tourism Malaysia. Once again, the show settled into the Sunway Monash BRT complex that is looking increasingly comfortable as a permanent home.

A restored Toyota Starlet KP61 was up for grabs as the grand prize via a lucky draw from entrance tickets. Other prices included flight ticket to next year’s Tokyo Auto Salon, Atara Racing wheels and many more.

Some of the special guests that made the trip over for the 2019 edition included:

- Daijiro Inada of Option Magazine, Tokyo Auto Salon and D1GP
- Shoji Inoue of Starroad Japan
- Akira Iida, Toyota works driver
- Ichiraku Toshiya of Kamiwaza Japan and 1048 Lifestyle
- Ron Celestine of Speedhunters
- Lulut Retro of Kustomfest Indonesia
- Archie Yiu of Classicracer Hong Kong
- Jeiven t. Perez of Sushi Factory from The Philippines
