A couple of new faces, a return to an old venue but most importantly, brand new cars to thrash around street circuits… Season 3 of the Toyota Gazoo Racing Festival will be flagged off in September with the new 2019 Vios models in race trim lining up for the Vios Challenge.
The recipe remains pretty much unchanged. Four rounds with two races each for the three racing classes. Those classes are the usual Promotional, Sporting and Super Sporting. Furthermore, the racing enters the virtual realm this time around as well with the Gazoo Racing Velocity E-Sports series that was first held last year and saw over 400 participants.

Kuala Terengganu will be the first stop for the festival over the 6-7 September 2019 weekend with a specially prepared street circuit. The remaining three rounds will be split across the Klang Valley, Johor Bahru and Sepang International Circuit. That’s right, there’ll be no Penang round this season after being a fixture for the first two seasons.
Eight of the 10 celebrities from last year are back again with two new faces in the form of actor Syafiq Kyle and actress/presenter Ain Edruce. The familiar faces are actor Shukri Yahaya, beat-boxer Shawn Lee, presenter Nabil Ahmad, singer Khai Bahar, singer Nabila Razali, singer Wany Hasrita, actress Janna Nick and defending champion actress Diana Danielle. UMW Toyota deputy chairman Akio Takeyama will be joining the celebrities on track as well, this being his third season racing in the series.
