“Tak Rasa Sakit Langsung” - Bersalin Secara Pembedahan, Chryseis Tan Kongsi Pengalaman Melahirkan Anak

Menerusi laman sosial Instagram, Chryseis turut memuat naik dua foto bersama suami dan anak, Arianna Kyla Tan yang baru dilahirkan untuk tatapan umum.

“Jadi, ramai yang tanya sama ada saya melahirkan anak secara normal atau C-section. Inilah pengalaman bersalin saya, Arianna merupakan bayi songsang dan cara paling selamat untuk melahirkannya adalah melalui C-section walaupun saya berharap dapat bersalin secara normal.

So, since everyone is curious if I had a natural birth or a C-sec delivery, here goes - My birth experience :: Arianna was a breech baby and the safest way was for me to have a C-section delivery. From about month 6 of my pregnancy, Dr Kiren ( my gynae ) has been prepping me that I most likely will have a C-sec delivery unless my baby turns but she never did until the very end even though I was really hoping for a natural birth. I was very nervous about the surgery ( and obviously hearing some bad experiences from my friends didn’t help.. ? ) but anyway it has to be done. We checked into Pantai hospital a night before the planned surgery date and I couldn’t sleep at all because I was actually already having mild contractions. The next day I got ready, got rolled down on the bed from the ward to a room near the OT, got epidural done and was numb from my hip downwards. Before I knew it I was already in the OT with Faliq by my side, 70’s classic love songs playing and within minutes Arianna was out and shown to us ( Simba style ? ) I instantly felt relief that she’s finally here safe and sound ?? Arianna was then placed on my chest and we literally had a short photoshoot session ? ( all thanks to Dr Uma ) ?‍?‍? I was put to sleep immediately after that for the final stitching to be done, woke up 2 hours later and baby was by my side again with the rest of my family members. I must say I had a great labour experience, all thanks to the amazing doctors ( Dr Kiren, Dr Uma , Dr Kamaljit, Datuk Dr Satber , Dr Kim and the rest of the nurses / midwives that helped ) ?????? For those who asked if I was in pain - I felt almost no pain up till today ( maybe just some discomfort when I had to walk for the first time after the surgery ) I was terrified before the surgery but it all turned out so so well. If I can do it I think anyone can! ? It all felt so surreal and now I hope my future experience will be exactly the same as this ?? I still can’t believe I’m now a mother but I guess this will be the start of a new beautiful chapter for Faliq and I. Alhamdulillah ❤️

“Saya gementar untuk dibedah namun ia perlu dilakukan. Kami check-in ke Hospital Pantai dan esoknya saya dibawa masuk ke bilik pembedahan. Epidural dilakukan dan saya merasa kebas dari pinggang ke bawah.

“Dalam keadaan sedar saya sudah berada di dalam bilik pembedahan dengan Faliq berada di sebelah, lagu cinta klasik 70-an dimainkan dan Arianna berjaya dikeluarkan dan ditunjukkan kepada kami.

“Kepada yang bertanya adakah saya berasa sakit, saya tidak merasa sakit sehingga ke hari ini (walaupun sedikit tidak selesa bila perlu berjalan buat pertama kali selepas dibedah).

“Saya takut sebelum dibedah dan nampaknya is berjalan dengan sangat lancar. Kalau saya boleh buat, saya yakin anda semua boleh. Saya berharap pengalaman seterusnya juga akan sama seperti yang ini.

“Saya masih tak percaya saya seorang ibu sekarang tetapi inilah permulaan kepada kehidupan baru saya dan Faliq, alhamdulillah,” tulis Chryseis sebagai kapsyen.

Arianna Kyla Tan dilahirkan pada 16 Julai lalu dengan berat 2.9kg.

Meninjau ke ruangan komen, ramai rakan usahawan, sosialit dan wargamaya memberikan ucapan tahniah kepada Chryseis.

Imbas kembali, pasangan anak jutawan Naza Group dan Berjaya Group ini telah mendirikan rumah tangga pada 4 Februari 2018 di The Chateau, Bukit Tinggi, Pahang.
