5 Awesome Movies You Need To Watch This July 2017

We’ve had some great movies that premiered during the first half of the year, some controversial ones and some that, umm, fell short of everyone’s expectation (hint: Transformers).

So, to continue the momentum of great movies this year, here are five must-watch movies you should definitely catch this month.

#1 Spider-Man: Homecoming

Prepare to get your spidey-senses tingling as your favourite web-slinging superhero returns to the silver screen. After his brief introduction in Captain America: Civil War, Peter Parker returns to living with Aunt May under the watch of his new mentor, Tony Stark a.k.a Iron Man. #3 Baby Driver

One of the most anticipated action movies this year, the Baby Driver is set to race straight into your hearts. Don’t be fooled by the name of the movie as the trailer itself promises nothing short of jam-packed, adrenaline pumping action. And did we mention that this movie received a 98% rating on Rotten Tomatoes? So don’t miss it!

#4 Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets

Sci-fi movie junkies, this movie is something that should be on the top of your movie wish list this month. Time-traveling agents Valerian (Dane DeHann) and Laureline (Cara Delevingne) are sent on a mission to the intergalactic city of Alpha. The movie sure has the Guardians of The Galaxy and Avatar feel and look, but its storyline definitely sets it apart from the other two movie franchises.

#5 The Doll 2

If you’re still recovering from the nightmares you had watching the first installation of The Doll, well a new sequel is back to haunt you. Indonesian horror movies are notoriously known to really creep you out, so beware, you have been warned.
