After 10 Very Long Years, ‘Zombieland 2’ Is Finally Here!

In 2009, one of the greatest zombie movies to ever be created premiered on silver screens worldwide.

That movie was none other than ‘Zombieland’.

The end-of-the-world comedy starring Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, and Abigail Breslin was set in a post-apocalyptic zombie world.

The comedy film did very well at the box office and news of a sequel and TV series floated around for some time -- like, a really, really long time -- but nothing eventually materialised.

Well, the wait is finally over!

After 10 long years, get ready to gear up because ‘Zombieland 2’ will be coming to the silver screens soon.

A new poster for ‘Zombieland 2: Double Tap’ was recently released and fans got a glimpse of what’s coming in the sequel.

The good news is, the original four leads will return to reprise their roles, with a few new faces joining them this time around – Zoey Deutch as Madison, Avan Jogia as Berkeley, and Rosario Dawson as Nevada.

And guess what, part of the original ‘Ghostbuster’ gang; Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd, will also reportedly make an appearance! Murray’s character was killed off in the first movie, so we’re curious to see how he’ll make a comeback.

Will Columbus (Eisenberg) create more rules of survival in this sequel? Will there be a surprise role involving our pop culture favourites? It’s not too long until ‘Zombieland 2’ comes out so we’re sure a sequel will be out pretty soon.
