Now that’s done and dusted, what you should look out for next is the fourth installment of 'Toy Story'.
The movie is slated for release on 21 June 2019. In case you didn’t know, that was the original release date for 'Incredibles 2' but Disney/Pixar decided to swap it. Well, good call, guys!
So, what could be in store for adults and kids in 'Toy Story 4'?
Disney/Pixar kind of left us in the dark as there’s nothing except a mere movie poster. But according to this report from Buzzfeed, here are some details about the movie that we found out so far:
#1 Tom Hanks and Tim Allen Will Return
Both Hanks and Allen, who voiced iconic duo Woody and Buzz Lightyear respectively, will reprise their roles in the fourth movie. And let’s be honest, we can’t imagine anyone else voicing these two characters!
#2 The Movie’s Plot Will Focus on Little Bo Peep
Some of you may or may not remember this, but Woody’s love interest Bo Peep was predominantly absent in 'Toy Story 3' because apparently, she was “given away during a yard sale”. So, in the future installment of the movie, the plot will focus on the search for Bo Peep.
#3 There Will Be New Characters
During a footage screening of 'Toy Story 4' at CineEurope, viewers confirmed that there will be a few new toy characters, including a Hawaiian girl paper doll named Lulu. So, will the gang potentially be going to Hawaii? Only time will tell.
#4 There Is a 'Toy Story 4' Easter Egg in 'Incredibles 2'
If you’ve watched 'Incredibles 2', you might want to watch it again and if you haven’t, you need to pay close attention to every single detail as it has been revealed that there is a 'Toy Story 4' Easter egg in the movie. No one knows for sure what the Easter egg is, but it’ll only be revealed after 'Toy Story 4' premieres.
#5 'Toy Story 4' Isn’t A Continuation of The Previous Trilogy
The first three 'Toy Story' movies seem to correlate with one another and is a continuation of where they left off, but in 'Toy Story 4', it’ll be a completely different story. It will also be more of an emotional love story. We’re guessing it’ll probably center on Woody and Bo Peep’s journey in finding each other.
