Following the news of big names like Bruno Mars and Incubus who will be making a pit stop at Malaysia next year, there is yet another concert you should mark on your 2018 calendar.

American three-piece alternative band LANY will be starting their Asia Tour in March and Kuala Lumpur is one of the lucky cities that will be experiencing their music.

LANY is an acronym for "Los Angeles New York". But for those who aren't familiar, don't go round trying to spell out the letters when you talk about the band. It is actually pronounced "Lay-Nee".

It's not
Formed in 2014, the band consists of Paul Jason Klein (lead vocals, guitar and keyboard), Jake Clifford (drums) and Les Priest (keyboard, guitar, backup vocals).

Although LANY has been around for a couple of years, it wasn't until the release of 'ILYSB' in 2016 when the band really got their name out.

Subsequently, tracks like 'Good Girls' and 'Super Far' went on to gain international fame.

They even played a number of music festivals, including Good Vibes Festival held in Genting Highlands this year. So they've actually been to Malaysia before! And if their name sounded familiar, it's probably because of all the Instagram posts and Facebook videos you saw from their set here in August.

They are pretty well-known for their dreamy sound and catchy tunes, so a lot of fans were thrilled to see their first full-length album 'LANY' finally released in June this year.

LANY will be hitting KL Live on 31 March 2018. You can also head to the band's official website for their complete tour schedule if seeing them just once is not enough for you.
