From Asgard To WWE: Chris Hemsworth Set To Smash His Role As Hulk Hogan In Biopic
‘The Avengers’ may have come to an end, but ‘Thor’ hasn’t and it looks like that’s not all we can look forward to from Chris Hemsworth.
The Australian actor will soon be trading his Mjölnir hammer and armour for spandex tights.
Playing another legend
Hemsworth is set to play legendary wrestler Hulk Hogan for his biopic.
According to ComicBook, the Marvel star is currently in the process of bulking up to look like the wrestler.

"As you can imagine, the preparation for the role will be insanely physical. I will have to put on more size than I ever have before, even more than I put on for Thor. There is the accent as well as the physicality and the attitude."
"I will also have to do a deep dive into the rabbit hole of the wrestling world, which I'm really looking forward to doing.”
We’ve seen Hemsworth’s buff physique in Marvel films, and we cannot imagine him getting bigger and leaner than he already is.

The biopic, set to be directed by ‘Joker’ director Todd Phillips, will tell the tale of Hogan’s rise in the wrestling world in the 1980s, which will also include the origin of the Hulkster and also Hulkmania.
Hogan will act as both a consultant and executive producer for the project, with Bradley Cooper also on board as a producer.
No word yet on when the biopic will be out.
Well, Chris is used to wrestling other-worldy beings, so we’re sure he has no qualms with wrestling humans!
