If you recall, the 'Twilight' books and movies dominated the better part of the late 2000s.

The vampire romance novel captivated millions of fans worldwide, as the five 'Twilight' movies that spawned off of four novels pocketed a cool USD3.3 billion (RM13.8 billion) at the box office.

The 'Twilight' craze was real, and it seems like its author has plans to suck us into its hype all over again.

But you might have to wait a while

Are you ready for more 'Twilight' stories?
The author of the 'Twilight' novels, Stephenie Meyer, has recently hinted that she's not done with the story just yet.

While promoting her latest novel 'Midnight Sun' -- a spin-off book told from lead vampire Edward Cullen's point-of-view -- the 46-year-old revealed that she has the storyline for two more additional 'Twilight' novels planned.

Meyer made the stunning revelation during an online event for bookstore chain Books-a-Million, USA Today reported.

"There are two more books I think in the world that I want to write. I have got them outlined and a chapter written I think of the first one, so I know it's there," Meyer was quoted as saying.

Ready to add more to your collection?
However, before you get too excited, we probably won't see the novels being released anytime soon.

Meyer revealed that although she already has a clear outline on what she wants the story to be, she's not ready to complete the books yet.

"I am not ready to do that right now, I want to do something brand new," she told USA Today.

She, however, did not mention what 'brand new' is; it could be a new novel altogether, or like her latest spin-off 'Midnight Sun', it could be a darker and grittier 'Twilight' novel.

But we have a feeling that it won't matter, because die-hard 'Twilight' fans will wait as long as they can for some new content.

Let's just hope she doesn't take as long as George RR Martin to release her books:
