All you 'Avengers' fans out there, we've done it!

The last movie in the Avengers franchise, 'Avengers: Endgame' is now the highest grossing movie of all time.

CNN Business reported that the epic superhero movie achieved the feat in its 13th weekend of release.

Quoting distributor Walt Disney Co., the movie will overtake the US$2.789 billion (RM11.5 billion) collected worldwide by James Cameron’s 2009 science-fiction epic 'Avatar'.

The science fiction film set on the planet of Pandora held the record for ten years.

"A huge congratulations to the Marvel Studios and Walt Disney Studios teams, and thank you to the fans around the world who lifted 'Avengers: Endgame' to these historic heights," the co-chairman and chief creative officer of The Walt Disney Studios, Alan Horn, said in a statement.

You can sleep well tonight, Marvel fans. You've done your part!
