BamBam Set to Perform in KL for First Solo World Tour
Ahgases (or GOT7 fans), get your wallets ready because BamBam is heading to Kuala Lumpur very soon for his first-ever solo world tour. He will be performing at the Mega Star Arena (Sungei Wang Plaza) on 15 October 2023 (Sunday). Ticket prices and seating details have yet to be announced.
Several days ago, BamBam posted his mysterious image and aliens in his IG stories and Twitter which finally makes sense given his tour name, AREA 52 (unrevealed space of the world). Area 51 is a U.S. military base that has become synonymous with rumours of UFOs and alien technology.
BamBam is a rapper of GOT7, a highly successful South Korean boy band with six other members: Jay B, Mark, Jackson, Jinyoung, Youngjae, and Yugyeom. The members have been focusing on solo activities, but still promote together as a group. The 26-year-old Thai-born singer released his first studio album, Sour & Sweet on 28 March 2023. His YouTube channel, BamBam Home, has also been incredibly successful with 352k subscribers so far despite only being launched early this year.
BamBam will also be performing in Seoul, Manila, Macau, and Bangkok. The poster also teases the words ‘and more’, so international fans can look forward to more locations being revealed.
It appears that the concert will be organised by iMe MY which has hosted other K-pop acts such as EXO SC: Back to Back Fancon in KL as they shared the image of the tour on their social media page.
GOT7 was previously set to head to KL in March 2020 as part of their ‘Keep Spinning’ tour, but the concert was unfortunately cancelled due to COVID-19.
