If you've been wanting to watch Beauty And The Beast in the cinema, the good news is, you don't need to drive to Singapore to watch it now.

That's because the movie will be releasing in Malaysian cinemas on 30 March - WITH NO CUTS!

Cinema chain GSC confirmed the news via a post on their official Facebook page on Tuesday evening:

However, the film will be rated PG13.

The much-anticipated movie was supposed to be released in local cinemas on 16 March, but at the eleventh hour, Disney Malaysia decided to pull the movie from the silver screen, citing an "internal review of release date".

The decision caused quite a bit of confusion amongst Beauty And The Beast fans, as the Malaysian Censorship Board (LPF) has reportedly given its approval earlier to screen the movie in Malaysian cinemas.

The postponement of the release date was reportedly due to Disney's refusal to have a scene -- believed to be of homosexual nature -- cut from the movie.

Whatever the reason may be, we, for one, are relieved that the drama is over.
