The Best Horror And Thriller Movies To Revisit This Spooky Month
Entering the month of October, all we can think of is a season that is not even part of our history and culture – Halloween.
But it does not mean that we’re not allowed to embrace all things scary, right? Well, if you haven’t noticed already, Malaysians seem to love horror. Just look at all the local horror films that were released this year alone.
For some reason, we like being scared out of our wits – except this writer.
We’re not sure why, but we’re not here to start a thesis on why the horror genre is so popular in Malaysia and Asia.
In conjunction with this spooky month, it is only logical to revisit some of the movies that gave us nightmares for weeks.
Now, these masterpieces may or may not involve ghosts and evil spirits, but they all have one thing in common: there is something coming after us and we need to run.
So here are several movies under the horror and thriller genre that is perfect to help you convince that scaredy-cat friend of yours to watch with you. Just tell them that it will be worth it.

In ‘The Sandman’, a little girl’s nightmare comes to life in the form of a Sandman, a terrifying monster that attacks anyone who wants to hurt her. Sounds more like a guardian angel, doesn’t it? But hey, if a shape-shifting Sandman appears in your bedroom in the middle of the night, what are you going to do?

During one hot summer that turns into a horrifying ordeal, the friends must come together to overcome their own personal fears and fight the murderous clown who is just thirsty for blood.
