A Bunch Of Asian Comedians Are Coming Together Again And You Get To Watch Them Live
The best of Asian stand-up comedy is returning with a vengeance.
Comedy Central’s original series, Comedy Central Stand-up, Asia is back in full force to offer a second dose of unadulterated Asian humour.

Premiering in August, Season 2 of the show will feature 16 standout Asian voices in comedy from the region as well as the US and UK, including Paul Ogata, Imran Yusuf, Papa CJ, Alex Calleja, Sharul Channa, Dr Jason Leong, and many more!
And the best part of the show is that it will be recorded in front of a live audience right here in KL! The comedians will get seven minutes on stage each to entertain the crowd, three of whom are Malaysians – Dr Jason Leong, Keren Bala Devan and Shamaine Othman.
So if you want to be part of the audience for one or two laughter-filled nights, the show will be held at HGH Convention Centre on 13 and 14 July.
You can also check out the full line-up of comics on both nights on the Comedy Central Asia website and purchase your tickets here. Tickets are priced at RM50, RM100, RM150 and RM250.
LOL Events CEO Rizal Kamal believes that Asian stand-up comedy is currently at its prime in terms of both the comedy acts and quality of material.
The show also aims to bring a change in perception and break all stereotypes surrounding the comedy scene.
For those who can’t make it to the live shows, Comedy Central Stand-up, Asia Season 2 premiers on 22 August at 8.55pm. So make sure you tune into to all ten of the half-hour episodes every Tuesday for a good laugh after a long day at work!
