Can’t Get Enough Of ‘Kampong Pisang’? They’re Back With A Special Raya Musical

As the first musical film in the popular local horror comedy franchise, Kampong Pisang, it comes following several other successful releases from the franchise including, Astro Originals drama series, ‘Kampong Pisang Bersiri-Siri’ and film ’18 Puasa Di Kampong Pisang’ which collected over RM5 million on Astro First, topping even local blockbuster, Hantu Kak Limah, collections on Astro First.

For this Aidilfitri edition, each character has their own conflict and dilemma as they celebrate Hari Raya, beginning when the Kampong Pisang villagers come together to cook a day before the celebration.

Husin returns with a new beau, Nelly, giving rise to Cik Chun’s envy and sulking as she has been rejected. Barkoba is surprised by the presence of a former romantic interest that previously left him to marry a factory manager.

Pak Din feels sad, as his child is unable to return to celebrate together. Cik Purnama carries a bag and a mattress everywhere with her, out of loneliness. Pak Karim and Kak Som are melancholic going through the festivities for the first time since the passing of their child, while Daud M is scheduled to work on the eve of the celebration, delivering online purchases of those in Kampong Pisang.
