Catch Alan Walker and DJ Soda at the First-Ever Borneo Music Festival Live 2022

The Borneo Music Festival Live 2022 is finally happening on 9 & 10 September 2022 at the Sarawak Cultural Village in Kuching, Sarawak! Originally scheduled for April 2020, the festival had to be postponed as the government banned large scale events due to the pandemic, with the refund process only being expedited this year.

Fans can look forward to seeing the international music producer and hitmaker Alan Walker in the flesh, as he will be headlining the festival at his maiden debut in the country.

He has only previously met Malaysian fans online via music and entertainment platform JOOX rooms. He is best known for his hit single ‘Faded’, which has 3.3 billion streams on YouTube to date, with multi-platinum certifications in over 10 countries including the US and UK besides performing at sold-out shows throughout the world.

Headlining alongside him will be DJ Soda, the South Korean beauty queen with amazing skills on the deck, that has gained her millions of followers on Instagram. She has displayed her adept ability to mix genres, from trap to hard dupstep and always moves the crowd with her energetic on-stage persona.

The festival also boasts a line up from six different countries: United Kingdom, South Korea, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, and Singapore. Malaysia’s very own DJ’s DJ Alexis Grace, DJ Ice Cream, DJ Chacha, DJ MYVAX and DJ Paul alongside singers Rynn Lim, ThomasJack and Priscilla Abby together with local music band At Adau and Tuku’ Kame’ will be taking the stage.

Other acts to look out for include Nicole Chen from Singapore, DJ X Factor from the Philippines, DJ Venom C, and Moski Love from Indonesia.

The outdoor music festival will be held at the Sarawak Cultural Village, a living museum with longhouse replicas which has hosted similar events such as the World Harvest Festival and Rainforest World Music Festival.
