Two weeks into the new year and another musical superstar has decided to skip Malaysia. Ugh!

Pop diva Celine Dion will be heading to Singapore for the very first time this year.

The 49-year-old superstar -- who sang everybody's favourite karaoke song "My Heart Will Go On" -- will be performing at the Marina Bay Sands (MBS) on 3 and 4 July.

Two days in Singapore and you can't even spend two hours in Malaysia? Geez!

Dion made the announcement via a special shoutout video on her official Facebook page on Friday:

Her upcoming concert in Singapore is part of her month-long Asian tour, which will officially kick off on 26 June in Tokyo, before making her way to Macau, Jakarta, Taipei, Manila and Bangkok.

Ticket details for the Singapore leg have yet to be announced, but according to a report by The Straits Times, an advance pre-sale will be available for her official TeamCeline fan club soon.

The last time Dion came to Malaysia was back in 2008 as part of her Taking Chances Tour.

If you're a diehard Celine Dion fan, you know what to do - continue to wait lah!
