The phenomenal K-drama gained popularity around the world, thanks to its interesting storyline about two star-crossed lovers – one from South Korea, the other from North Korea - and how they make their romance work.
And it seems that even news agencies have caught the 'Crash Landing On You' bug after CNN Indonesia claims that they “unintentionally” used Hyun Bin’s photo while reporting about North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.
It was unintentional
Hyun Bin is the lead actor who plays Captain Ri in the series, and the news that was reported by CNN Indonesia was in regards to Kim Jong Un’s state of health after reports emerged that the Supreme Leader may be at death's door. The news outlet then issued an apology over the mix up.
“The news package was on the issues surrounding Kim Jong-un, who was reportedly in critical condition, which has no relation to the Captain Ri character in the Korean drama series. This error was not intentional, and we apologise for this mistake,” a CNN news anchor told Coconuts Indonesia.
Netizens across the Asian region found the news amusing and shared their thoughts on Twitter.

Well, let’s hope Kim Jong Un accepts the apology and sees it as a form of flattery.
