[CONTEST] Win Premiere Screening Passes To Play A Deadly Game Of 'Hide And Seek Minako'
It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt. Like, really really hurt!
'Hide And Seek Minako', an Indonesian movie inspired by a Japanese horror game, is based on a terrifying game called Hitori Kakurenbo, popularised by Japanese high schoolers where they play a game of hide-n-seek by summoning and capturing a ghost into a stuffed doll.
The movie is centered around a group of friends, who organised a high school reunion at their now abandoned high school.
To lighten the mood, one of them later suggests that they play a game of hide-and-seek but with a twist: they would conjure a spirit and they will attempt to capture it in a doll named Minako.
Since the game is more of a Japanese ghost-summoning ritual than a normal hide-and-seek, things soon turn awry when they start playing it as the spirit hunts them down one by one.
Will they be able to win the game? Who will survive this deadly hide and seek game?
'Hide And Seek Minako' is set to open in Malaysian cinemas on 28 February, but if you can't wait any longer, our friends at United International Pictures are giving you a chance to catch the movie a few days before everyone else.
