Do you still have K-drama fever even though we’ve transitioned into the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO)? Or specifically, ‘Crash Landing On You’ (CLOY) fever?

If you answered yes, then you’d be please to know Captain Ri’s sweetheart – Yoon Se-ri, played by actress Son Ye Jin – is set to ‘crash’ into a new territory (don’t worry, it’s not North Korea).

Hollywood-bound

Who else has a crush on her?
According to Soompi, Son Ye Jin is set to star in a Hollywood film titled ‘Cross’ alongside ‘Avatar’ star, Sam Worthington.

This will be her first foray in Tinseltown and she will take on the role as the lead star of the film – Vera.

“Son Ye-jin is in talks for the movie ‘Cross’, and the outlook is favourable. Unless there are any huge changes, she’ll be going through with it,” Son’s agency MS Team Entertainment said in a statement.

Interestingly, the film will be set in the future with several scenes to be filmed in South Korea.

Son, however, will be conversing in English throughout the film.

Maybe he'll look even more familiar in his Avatar costume and makeup.
Besides the 'CLOY' star, another South Korean actor will also join her in this film – Lee Sun Gyun, who had a role in the hit film ‘Parasite’.

‘Cross’ tells the tale of people caught between two nations, one wealthy and one poor where Vera tries to survive in the poor nation as a single mother and Worthington’s character will be a man who lives in the wealthy nation.

Filming is reportedly set to take place in March 2021. No word yet when will the movie be released.

Well, we can’t wait to see Son acting in a Hollywood production soon!
