Fans of the hit Spanish series ‘La Casa de Papel’ are in for a Korean treat.

Instead of singing “bella ciao ciao ciao”, you’ll be singing “annyeonghaseyo” soon as Netflix has recently announced the complete line-up for the upcoming Korean remake of ‘Money Heist’.

From España to South Korea

News of the Korean adaptation came to light in June 2020 and a few months after that, Jun Jong-seo, who played the antagonist in ‘The Call’, was reportedly casted as Tokyo.

The Korean adaptation of ‘La Casa de Papel’ will be set in the Korean peninsula with fresh new elements in the familiar storyline.

The 12-episode original series centres around members of a gang recruited by the Professor, hostages, and a Task Force Team tackling the heist.
