Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Tests Positive For COVID-19, Says “It’s A Real Kick In The Gut”
In the latest string of celebrities and high-profile individuals affected by the pandemic, actor Dwayne Johnson has recently tested positive for COVID-19.
Through a video uploaded onto his Instagram page, The Rock has revealed that he and his family, including his wife and two kids, have tested positive.
Got it from a close friend
He says it’s one of the “most challenging and difficult things to endure as a family” and wishes that it was only him who got it.
However, things are improving for their family as they are no longer contagious and they currently have a clean bill of health.
The ‘Jumanji’ star revealed that they got the virus from their close family friends despite all the measures that they’ve taken.
“We’ve been in lockdown with all of you since March, we have been disciplined, we’ve quarantined, we’ve been isolated, I have not worked, and I feel like I have done a pretty good job at protecting my family.”
But because they had a few friends and family members over, they contracted the virus.

Fans and fellow celebrities left comments and prayers for him and his family, and even thanked him for being transparent with his test results.
Well, it’s true; even if you trust the person coming to your house, you’ll never know if they have COVID-19 or not.
So always stay safe, vigilant, and constantly take protective measures during this pandemic.
