Disney has seen a string of successful live-action remakes in recent years. We’re talking big bucks at the box office with Alice in Wonderland (2010) raking in USD1.025 billion at the box office, Maleficent (2014) with USD758.5 million, Cinderella (2015) with USD542.7 million, and The Jungle Book (2016) with 793.6 million – and counting. It seems as if Disney is replicating what it’s doing with the Marvel Cinematic Universe and releasing one movie a year with Beauty and the Beast scheduled for 17 March 2017.

In the video you can see that the Beast has forgone the maintenance fees of his castle and mostly leaves the windows and doors unlocked for beautiful women to walk through the door. He also leaves the rose that supposedly represents his life, displayed and unguarded in an unlocked room, for any Ron, Hermione, and Harry to ogle at and possibly knock over. We also hear the questionable voice acting by Scottish actor, Ewan McGregor, as the French candelabra Lumiere. Ewan himself revealed that he struggled in the beginning, but we’ll reserve judgement of his performance for after we see the movie.

Interestingly, the video has been seen 33 million times on Emma Watson’s page and only two million times on YouTube. The times, they are a-changing.
