Filipino Social Media Influencer Puts Up Billboard To Ask BLACKPINK's Jennie Out For A Date

The ladies of BLACKPINK are obviously really attractive and talented, and it's a no-brainer that everybody wants to ask them out on a date.
One social media influencer in the Philippines did just that - but in a rather questionable way.

Grand gesture of love?

The controversial social media influencer named Christian Albert Gaza, who apparently has a huge crush on Jennie Ruby Jane, recently went the extra mile to ask her out for dinner.
According to Allkpop, Gaza reportedly put up a large billboard with his photo in Seoul to ask the 23-year-old superstar out for a date.
In fact, the billboard is located just a few kilometres away from the office of BLACKPINK’s management agency.

“Kim Jennie Ruby Jane, you are my ultimate crush. Can I take you out to dinner and make me the happiest man alive?,” Gaza wrote in both English and Korean.
The 28-year-old took to Facebook to reveal that he spent 1.5 million Philippine pesos (RM123,000) to buy out the billboard.
“I don’t know how else to contact her. I hope she says yes,” he wrote in the now deleted Facebook post, pointing out that he didn’t add his business logos on the billboards to show his sincerity.

In a separate post, Gaza said his original plan was to give Jennie a house and a lot in South Korea, but he couldn’t after he found out that the K-pop girl group will no longer accept gifts from avid fans.
Gaza is no stranger when it comes to grand gestures such as this one.
Back in 2017, he also put up a billboard to ask Filipino actress Erich Gonzales out for coffee. Sadly for Gaza, Gozales rejected his advances.

And it looks like Gaza will probably not get a date with Jennie too, as fans of BLACKPINK are rallying around the singer to protect her from Gaza.
They have called on the band’s management agency to protect Jennie from Gaza's advances.
And in another perfect example of why you shouldn't mess with K-pop idols, the fans have also leaked a list of Gaza’s alleged shady business dealings.

Poor guy.
Maybe he'll stand a better chance of asking her out if he was a little bit less creepy.
