The final trailer for J.K. Rowling’s new wizarding world, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, has been released.

Directed by David Yates, who also worked on the last four Harry Potter movies, the new film stars Academy Award winner Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander, an expert on magical animals.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is set in 1926 New York (70 years before Harry Potter’s existence) and zooms in on the power struggle within the hidden American wizarding community. Newt Scamander had just completed a global excursion to search for magical creatures. Arriving in New York, a ‘No-Maj’ (American for ‘muggle’) named Jacob misplaced a magical case and released some of Newt’s fantastic beasts by accident. This spelled trouble for both the wizarding and ‘No-Maj’ realms.

Revisiting the wizarding world, this movie marks Rowling’s screenwriting debut since the adaptation of her Harry Potter franchise. Her script was inspired by a textbook in Hogwarts with the same title.

Harry Potter fans will also be happy to hear the nostalgic score played in the trailer. Watch it below:
