Gal Gadot Will Not Play Wonder Woman Again If This One Thing Doesn't Change
Wonder Woman burst into the silver screen in May and became one of the biggest success stories this year. After receiving rave reviews from both viewers and critics alike, the box office hit also became the highest-grossing live action movie directed by a woman.
So it came as no surprise when Warner Bros Studios confirmed a Wonder Woman sequel slated for release in December 2019. Both director Patty Jenkins, and of course, the well-loved Gal Gadot will be returning to helm the film.
However, there could be some devastating news if things don’t change. And this is big.
According to a report by Page Six, Gadot may not play Diana Price or Wonder Woman again if producer Brett Ratner remains involved in the sequel.

Although he had denied all allegations against him, Warner Bros has reportedly severed ties with him.
Gadot is really making a strong stance against sexual harassment in Hollywood and doesn’t want the Wonder Woman identity to be tarnished by a man accused of sexual misconduct.
We can’t imagine having anyone else play Wonder Woman other than the charming Gal Gadot. But this is the best way to stand by what is right because, as a source told Page Six, “they can’t have a movie rooted in women’s empowerment being part-financed by a man accused of sexual misconduct against women”.
