Hawkeye Is Set To Star In Another Superhero Movie Alongside Jamie Foxx

It seems that we’ve been getting an influx of superhero movies these past few years and if you take a look at all the movies that made it to the top blockbuster list, most of it are of that genre.

And speaking of superhero movies, there will be another one coming our way soon.

Not too long ago, news broke that Jamie Foxx has been chosen to play the lead role, Spawn, who is a black-ops agent who was double crossed and murdered by his colleagues but he returns as an anti-hero.

And now we learned that Jeremy Renner a.k.a Hawkeye has been recruited to join Foxx in this movie. Renner will play Detective “Twitch” Williams, who is a good cop surrounded by bad cops and becomes Spawn’s unlikely ally, as reported by Entertainment Weekly.

Interestingly, the creator of the comic, Todd McFarlene will be getting behind the camera to direct this movie.

No news yet when they are planning to release 'Spawn' in cinemas, guess we’ll have to wait and see.
