Here’s A First Look At The New ‘Fantastic Beasts 2’ Teaser And Its Release Date
Exactly a year ago, Potterheads were treated to a movie from an extension of the Harry Potter universe titled Fantastic Beasts. The movie details the journey of Newt Scamander played brilliantly by Eddie Redmayne.
The movie was a hit success (obviousl!) and it was indeed fantastic and included many magical beasts.
J.K. Rowling then announced that there will be another five movies in the Fantastic Beasts universe (honestly, though, one could never get enough of the Harry Potter universe).
Now, a year later, Warner Bros. has dropped a few key information about the sequel which, in all honesty, got us all squealing in excitement!
The movie finally has a release date – 16 November 2018 with the title Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.
The first image from the movie appeared on Wednesday showcased two wands – an Elder Wand, who people are speculating belongs to Grindelwald, while the other belongs to Dumbledore.
Now, the most exciting part is a short 23-second clip showing all the cast members, which include new and old faces.
The world had a first look at Jude Law as Albus Dumbledore and were also introduced to three characters sitting next to Credence (Ezra Miller) – Claudia Kim as Maledictus, Zoe Kravitz as Leta LeStrange, Scamander’s former beau/friend who was first seen in a photograph in the first movie, who, by the way, is now *plot twist* engaged to Theseus Scamander (Callum Turner) – Newt’s older brother.
Nicolas Flamel, famed for creating the Sorcerer's Stone, will also appear in this movie.
It is said that an epic battle between Dumbledore and Grindelwald will take place in this sequel.
Whatever it is, we just can’t wait to see it. So, the countdown to Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald begins now!
