Here We Go Again! ‘Mamma Mia!’ Is Reportedly Getting A Third Film Soon
Just two years after the release of the sequel of ‘Mamma Mia!’ – ‘Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again’, comes an exciting news for fans of the romantic musical.
According to an interview with the Daily Mail, ‘Mamma Mia!’ producer Judy Cramer says that a third films is currently in the works, with a few new songs from ABBA potentially happening.
During the COVID-19 lockdown, the producer gave much thought to the third installment of the film.
“I think one day there will be another film, because there’s meant to be a trilogy, you see,” Cramer told the British publication.

Fans may have already envisioned a third musical film in some exotic island with Amanda Seyfried reprising her role however, the ‘Mamma Mia’ star was a bit pessimistic on the third film ever materialising.
In an interview with Collider, Seyfried said every person in ‘Mamma Mia’ would say yes in a heartbeat to the next film because all of them wanted to hang out with each other.

"I don’t think there are enough ABBA songs to make a third movie. Because we’d have to use “Super Trooper” again and we’d have to use “Mamma Mia” again and have to use them in a different way.”
Well, in a way Seyfried is happy to reprise her role in the next installment in ‘Mamma Mia’, so let’s hope they’ll have enough ABBA songs to make it happen soon.
