This coming January, The xx will be returning to Asia for ‘I See You Tour Asia’ and making a pit-stop in Kuala Lumpur for the first time ever.
The English act has played multiple sold-out shows and headlined festivals around the world, so you can bet that they’ll be at the top of their game at their concert here.
Formed in London in 2005, The xx consists of Romy Madley Croft (guitar and vocals), Oliver Sim (bass and vocals) and Jamie Smith a.k.a. Jamie xx (beats and record production). They stand out among the rest for their distinctive minimalistic sound that is a blend of indie pop, indie electronic, dream pop and electronic rock.
The band released their third album in January this year, the critically-acclaimed I See You which rose to No. 2 on the ‘Billboard 200’ chart. In this latest piece, you can hear a more playful, eclectic and expansive sound which fans and critics alike have fallen head over heels with.
And here’s your chance to experience their music live in person on 25 January 2018 at MITEC.
There are only three categories of ticket pricing – RM220 (Early Bird), RM270 (Pre-sale) and RM330 (Regular). Early bird tickets will go on sale beginning Wednesday, 18 October at 10am and end the next day, 19 October at 10pm.
If you happen to miss the early bird sales, you can purchase the pre-sale tickets from Friday, 20 October, 10am onwards.
