It's Been Confirmed: Malaysians Are Asia's Top Couch Potatoes

There's not a lot of things we can be proud of, but this is one where we can.

The world's leading online video streaming service, Netflix, has just released the list of Asian countries that binge-watch TV series the most and guess what: Malaysia is number one!

According to a recent study by the company, Malaysia was ranked ahead of countries such as Singapore, Philippines, Taiwan and Hong Kong.

The top shows that these ~~couch potatoes~~ TV addicts -- who Netflix calls 'Binge Racers', defined as subscribers who complete an entire season of a TV show within a day of its release -- binge on the most include Marvel's The Defenders, Gilmore Girls, Narcos and Stranger Things.

Not only that, Malaysia has the highest percentage of binge-watchers for American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson - in the world!

How about that?

In case you were wondering, the top Netflix binge-racing country in the world is Canada, followed by the United States and Denmark.

The shows that Netflix subscribers binge-raced the most are Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, Fuller House and Marvel's The Defenders.

We've got a question though: where do these people find the time to watch so many series?!
