DC Comic fans, you’re in for a treat! Warner Bros. has confirmed that there will be an untitled movie about Batman’s most infamous villain – the Joker.

The movie will reportedly be directed by Todd Philipps, who previously helmed The Hangover trilogy and Starsky and Hutch. Acclaimed director Martin Scorsese will also produce the film.

Not much details about the secret movie have been released so far, but the movie is reportedly set to tell the tale of the Joker’s origins. The backstory about one of the world’s loveable and vicious villains will, however, not be part of the DC Extended Universe entity.

The DC Extended Universe includes movies like the upcoming Justice League, Suicide Squad, and Batman v. Superman.

Although many fans expect Jared Leto, who last played the Joker in Suicide Squad, to headline the standalone movie, it seems that the director is looking to feature a different actor.

So, who will play the Joker in this movie? Who do you think is worthy to play Gotham’s leading villain? Share your thoughts in the comment section below!
