Kavin Jay Is Gearing Up For His First Ever Solo Tour Around Malaysia This August
Malaysia’s rising international standup comedian is finally going on his debut nationwide tour this August.
After 12 years in the local comedy scene and a Netflix special under his belt, Kavin Jay now plans to bring his brand of humour to audiences around the country.
The tour titled ‘Kavin Jay: Anger Management’ will be filled with all-new material and life stories, including the bad choices he made that have taught him to become a better person.
This will also mark Kavin’s first ever solo tour!

The 38-year-old’s journey in comedy has been nothing short of an adventure. When he first started bringing the laughs in 2006, there were only a few local standup comedians who were active in the scene.
Over the years of trial and error, Kavin have performed to thousands. He has even taken his comedy across the border, including Asia Pacific, Africa and Europe.
The peak of his career certainly came when he was given the opportunity to host his own Netflix standup comedy special Everybody Calm Down! this year.

The icing on the cake came when his Netflix performance received critical acclaim and rave reviews internationally.
Since then, Kavin has had people from around the world sending him messages asking him to tour places like Europe and the United States.
But the more he thought about it, he realised that he hasn’t even toured his own home country yet.
So, that was how the idea for this Malaysian tour came about.
Kavin will be setting foot in eight cities across the country throughout the month of August, making this one of the largest national comedy tours in Malaysia. He will also have local comics Papi Zak and Brian Tan joining him on the road.
And the best part about this tour is that it will not be happening in your typical bar or club. In fact, you will be watching Kavin perform live in person (not on the screen) in a special hall by TGV Cinemas!
