Keluang Man Official Trailer Unveiled, Marking the Start of the Astro Shaw Cinematic Universe
Back in December of last year, local production house Astro Shaw teased its plans for the future including a slate of new movies and series and introducing the Astro Shaw Cinematic Universe (ASCU) with things to kick off with the release of the Keluang Man movie.
The official trailer of Malaysia's most anticipated superhero action movie, hitting cinemas nationwide on May 29, 2025 was unveiled yesterday accompanied by the launch of the official poster and the announcement of a strategic campaign to engage audiences and boost the film's market presence.
Through the official trailer, this live-action adaptation introduces a modernised world of Keluang Man, packed with thrilling action sequences and high-quality cinematic visuals.
Meanwhile, a range of creative collaborations have been planned to further amplify the excitement of Keluang Man’s theatrical release including:
Wonda Kopi Kluang
Wonda Kopi Kluang, enriched with the invigorating essence of Tongkat Ali, embodies the strength of Malaysia’s superhero spirit—encouraging coffee lovers to discover the hero within themselves. This special edition of Wonda Kopi Kluang features limited-edition packaging showcasing five iconic characters from the Keluang Man universe: Keluang Man, Ahmad, Shamsir, Dr. Malini, and BeBe.
The limited-edition packs are now available at selected retail outlets including 7-Eleven, myNEWS, Shell, Petronas, Family Mart, ST Rosyam Mart, and Etika Official Store. Fans will also have the exclusive opportunity to collect special Keluang Man merchandise, such as mini character figurines, limited-edition umbrellas, collector’s comics, and keychains, available at selected stores through this special edition campaign.

Wonda-ful Keluang Man Burger
For the first time in a local film, Keluang Man introduces an exclusive burger inspired by the iconic character, called the ‘Wonda-ful Keluang Man Burger’. This strategic collaboration between Keluang Man, Wonda Coffee, and myBurgerLab celebrates the uniqueness of a local superhero through a delicious offering.
The burger features a special maroon bun paired with a unique sauce infused with Wonda Coffee, inspired by Keluang Man's suit. It is available at all myBurgerLab outlets for RM20, or as part of a combo set with fries and a Wonda milkshake for just RM41.90.
Keluang Man WONDA Fun Run
Run alongside Keluang Man and local celebrities! Fans can join the Keluang Man WONDA Fun Run on May 18 at Menara DBKL, Kuala Lumpur. The 5KM run starts at 5:00 am, held in conjunction with DBKL’s Car Free Morning programme. Participants are encouraged to dress in Keluang Man-themed attire. The first 1,000 registered participants will receive an exclusive Keluang Man jersey for free! Register now at www.keluangman.com from April 23 to May 2.
Keluang Man Premium Collection by Royal Selangor
This exclusive collection includes limited-edition mini figurines and lapel pins handcrafted by the skilled artisans at Royal Selangor. The figurine features Keluang Man in a silat pose and is limited to only 30 units, each with its own certificate and individual number. The pewter lapel pin highlights Keluang Man’s iconic symbol – a bold tribute to the Malaysian hero who fights crime under the cover of night.
Limited to 100 units, available in satin and 24K gold-plated finishes.
Keluang Man x Fung Keong
In collaboration with Malaysia’s iconic local footwear brand since 1939, Fung Keong, this exclusive sneaker line titled FK Sneakers is inspired by Keluang Man’s legendary costume. Featuring retro-classic designs, this collection will be available at selected Fung Keong outlets starting in May.
Keluang Man x Abstrax
Popular local brand Abstrax introduces an exclusive Keluang Man jersey, specially designed with the superhero’s character and style in mind. Made with premium materials and attention to detail, the jersey will be available at selected Abstrax outlets.
Keluang Man
Executive Producer of Keluang Man and Head of Astro Shaw, Raja Jastina Raja Arshad, shared, “We announced the production of Keluang Man three years ago, and during that time, various efforts were successfully executed, including strategic collaborations with Wonda Coffee, the first public appearance of Keluang Man in full costume during Malaysia’s 67th Independence Day celebration, and a giant Keluang Man mural in Kluang, Johor."
