K-pop Boy Band Infinite to Return to M’sia for a Group Concert For First Time in 12 Years
Calling all Malaysian Inspirits, get your lightsticks ready because the boys will be returning to Kuala Lumpur as a group for the first time in 12 years! The South Korean group first debuted in 2010, and to celebrate their 15th anniversary next year, they’re heading on a tour titled ‘Infinite 15th Anniversary Concert’!
The concert is set to be held on 22 February 2025 (Saturday) at the Megastar Arena. The time of the concert hasn’t been released yet. The concert organisers are Star Planet, behind the recent The Boyz World Tour and NCT Dream’s The Dream Show 2.
The concert will kick off in Seoul on December 6, 2024, covering various Asian cities, including Jakarta, Singapore, Yokohama, Taipei, and Macau, and ending with Hong Kong on March 1, 2025.
The group comprises Sunggyu, Dongwoo, Woohyun, Sungyeol, L, and Sungjong and are known for hits like ‘The Chaser,’ ‘Back,’ and ‘Paradise.’
Known for their highly synchronised dancing paired with live vocals, Infinite was last in Malaysia for their ‘One Great Step’ tour at Stadium Negara in 2013. In August, the group’s leader Sunggyu, performed at Zepp Kuala Lumpur as part of his solo tour ‘LV3: Let’s Vacay’. Later this October, Woohyun will be heading to EX8 for a solo concert as part of his “식목일4 – TREE WORLD” solo concert.’
