Local Actor Datuk Rosyam Nor Set To Play A Villain In Hong Kong Action Movie
Over the years, we've seen plenty of Malaysian actors and actresses being involved in international movies.
We can very soon add another name to the list.
A villainous role
Actor Datuk Rosyam Nor is set to make his acting debut in the Hong Kong movie scene via a film titled 'G Storm', New Straits Times reported.
The movie is set to be released on 31 December.
The actor took to his Instagram Page recently to share the awesome news:
"'G Storm' will be out in cinemas on 31 December. This action film is about the work of the fearless officers of Hong Kong's Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) who are the equivalent of our own Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC),” he wrote in the caption.
To make his role more interesting, Rosyam, who will be acting alongside popular Hong Kong actor Louis Koo, revealed that he would be playing one of the villains.
Rosyam's character is King, and he is the ruthless head of a human trafficking syndicate.
This is not the first time that the multi-talented actor has appeared in an international movie before.
Five years ago, Rosyam starred in the Tamil film 'Kabali', which was partly filmed in Kuala Lumpur, alongside Indian Superstar Rajinikanth.
Well done, Rosyam Nor! Who knows, we might soon see him in a Marvel movie?
