As the country prepares for the next wave of COVID-19 cases, it seems that more and more Malaysians who are returning home from abroad have been tested positive for the pandemic.

And the latest one to succumb to the Coronavirus is local actress Puteri Aishah.

Just returned from Scotland

The news was shared by her manager, Iman Tang, via his Instagram account on Tuesday night.

“She just tested POSITIVE for COVID19 an hour ago… Please pray for her, Please DOA kan dia supaya cepat sembuh…” Iman wrote.

Celebrities and fans flocked the actress’ Instagram account to send her well-wishes.

The ‘Pulang’ actress had left for Scotland on 9 March and returned home on 31 March for a drama filming.

Besides her, the drama’s director and four other crew members also tested positive.

Director Rahila Ali told Harian Metro that all of them did not exhibit any symptoms and appeared normal throughout filming and upon returning.

A total of 18 people had gone to Inverness, Scotland for the filming.

After returning to Malaysia, all of them had undergone self-quarantine but eventually had to take the test after one of them tested positive for COVID-19.
