We've seen reports of them leaking the new Avengers line up, but now, this latest rumour would definitely make you go; 'Wait, what?'
A new Iron Man?
According to entertainment website Comicbook News, Disney has reportedly set their sights on a Hollywood A-lister to suit up as the new Iron Man.The actor is none other than 'Mission Impossible' star Tom Cruise.
This piece of very interesting nugget came from popular YouTuber Grace Randolph, who claims that the 58-year-old succeeding Robert Downey Jr. as the Armoured Avenger is "is closer to happening".
Randolph claims that she's heard the same news from a few different sources now, and the president of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige, is reportedly "taking steps to make it happen".
"He is working on getting you Tom Cruise, which I've now heard from a second source.
"When I reported it to you I was like, 'Oh! Kevin Feige wants to do it.' And now I am hearing he is taking steps to make it happen. So that's really exciting," Randolph was quoted as saying.

Well, according to rumours, Cruise could appear as Iron Man in 'Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness', which means that Cruise could be playing Iron Man from a different universe.
We've seen the Scarlett Witch creating her very own universe where she brought Vision back from the dead in the trailer for Disney+'s 'WandaVision', so it will be no surprise if Marvel decides to double down on the whole Multiverse angle moving forward.
Interestingly, Tom Cruise has long been the frontrunner to play Iron Man before Marvel casted eventually settled on Robert Downey Jr.
So, we guess this could finally be Tom Cruise's chance to join the MCU.
